ReplyDeletehi Christine! Thank you for your support and being such a wonderful learning partner too!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Keep up the good work and continue spreading the goodness of coffee.
ReplyDeleteThe workshop is inspiring. After the session as a coffee lover I get know more indepth about coffee appreciationt, the origin and variety of coffee around the world. Going into a cafe for a cup of coffee will never be the same experience again. I will definitely recommend this workshop to anyone who would like to seek out more from the coffee. Keep it up! Love Your Coffee.
ReplyDeleteGood job Cheryl! Following is what happened after exposure to your class:
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm grinding my beans and wallet more often now.
I'm happier with both the press and dripped and they brew nicer coffee now.
For further personal enjoyment at home I have also got myself an aeropress too, marvelous simple non rocket science gadget with really good outcome.
Every sip from a cup of americano or long black seem to have more thoughts over it now, acidity, aroma, body, after taste and if there's a bah kut teh or durian flavor.
Keep it up, spread the virus of caffeine, let them addicted !
Cheers!
I’m lactose intolerance and I only drink black coffee. So is actually good that there are no milk involved during the workshop =). The first class I attended using the GroupOn coupon wasn’t as beneficial as the Coffee Appreciation Level 1. Cheryl and her team were very generous with the amount of coffee we get to taste - I was high on caffeine after both classes.
ReplyDeleteAside from learning about the different characteristics of coffees (Sumatra, Ethiopia, Costa Rica), I learned that each individual taste bud varies quite a bit despite being served the same coffee bean.
Honestly, I have no intention to brew my own coffee, not in the near future at least =), hence I’m a loyal customer to all the coffee chains around my office area. After attending Cheryl’s class, I’m more attuned to the taste and smell of my coffee. Even the coffee name on the chalk board becomes a more familiar word. Thanks Cherly and team, it is indeed a very fruitful class. Looking forward to your other classes in the future. Cheers!
